The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) and the Indonesia National Olympic Committee (Indonesia NOC) announced the full sports programme for the ANOC World Beach Games Bali 2023, in celebration of one year to go to the unique festival of beach and water sports.

Beach Sprints, along with 3×3 Basketball, AirBadminton, and Surfing (longboard and shortboard) have been added to the exciting and dynamic Bali 2023 core programme of Open Water Swimming 5km & Beach Water Polo, Beach Soccer, Beach Handball, Individual Kata, Kite Foil, Beach Tennis, Aquathlon, Beach Volleyball 4×4 and Beach Wrestling.

“Rowers will be delighted to be welcomed into the ANOC World Beach Games, to compete alongside the best beach sport athletes in the world and to take on the challenges of racing on Bali’s iconic coastal line. Bring it on!” said Guin Batten, chair of World Rowing’s Coastal Rowing Commission.

The 2023 World Beach Games will be staged 5-12 August 2023 in Bali, Indonesia. The quota for Beach Sprint at Bali 2023 is 80 athletes (40 men and 40 women) and the Qualification System is currently being agreed upon between the ANOC and World Rowing.
