Update from World Rowing regarding the technical issues at the 2023 World Rowing Indoor Championships presented by Concept 2

To our World Rowing Community,

Today, Saturday 25 February 2023, we have unfortunately experienced a series of technical issues, that has caused disruptions in our racing programme. First and foremost, we want to apologise for the inconvenience caused to all rowers racing.

The issues caused the disruption of the second Versa Challenge “Elimination” making it no longer feasible to run the challenge on Saturday. Upon consultation with the Versa athletes, World Rowing has decided not to run this challenge on Sunday, 26 February. The 2023 World Rowing Versa Challenge will now be comprised of four challenges.

The technical issues have been identified and are being worked on ahead of the second day of racing tomorrow.

Once again, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused.
