The World Rowing Coastal Championships will take place in Praia da Torre (“Tower beach”) which is recognized by its sea water quality and has been awarded a blue flag. This eco label award ensures the sea water is analyzed regularly and acknowledges the excellent quality of the water.

ENTRY FEES AND REFUND

Please note that an entry fee of 35 EUR per rowing seat will be introduced for all events at the 2021 WRCC. The fee will be used for a contribution towards the operational costs of race organization (for e.g. safety cover, timing and results service, medals, volunteer insurance, boat stickers and race course infrastructure). 5 EUR from the seat fee will be donated to support coastal rowing development programmes. More information on the payment procedure will be announced soon.

Refund conditions:

Entry fee is due after the entry deadline (02 September).
In the unlikely event of a late cancellation of the event because of a change in regulation by the Portuguese Government authorities for organization of mass participation events in Portugal – full refund (*)
If a participant is not able to participate because of specific lockdowns/exit restrictions/entry quarantine restrictions from their home country but the regatta is going ahead, no refund.

*minus the processing fee charged by the payment platform, which is different according to each country and card used.

ACCOMODATION CONDITIONS

For all bookings made through NIRVANA, the client terms of payment, cancellation and refund policy shall be:

100 EUR per person non-refundable deposit of total amount of the travel/accommodation booking required up until 15.08.2021
The remaining balance to be paid on 15.08.2021
From booking confirmation to 15.08.2021 = loss of deposit
From 15.08.2021 = loss of all monies paid

Should the event be cancelled due to COVID-19 (pandemic), NIRVANA is to provide the following client options:

Refund of all recoverable monies paid on travel/accommodation booking arrangements
Transfer of booking to the rescheduled event (if applicable) or another event in 2021
